We don’t do mega deals, or mega projects. We do family level stuff, and we see ourselves doing this for a long time. We own the homes that we lease, and we don’t act as middle men between 3rd party homes and you.
SkanVest Properties is founded by Scandinavian family, and our business is based on Scandinavian value principles. We focus our attention on operations in Michigan State, U.S.A. We here at the SkanVest Properties family have a different vision around what homes for lease is all about, mainly that it does not have to be all about profit. We want to have a sustainable business, which means we have to approach things with a human touch and a sense of pride. We believe that if we do things this way, the journey between us and our tenants has good foundation for success.
Companies that rent out to people without any regard for their circumstances or personal requirements, is in our view an outdated approach. We prefer tenants that share our view that a home isn’t just four walls, for us it is a place to create positive memories for families, and we believe our tenants do share this view. In essence our tenants select us as much as we select them!

From start to finish, we offer our tenants a planned journey that for some might mean choosing to own the home outright through a custom agreement. This allows tenants to feel like lease costs over time are not completely lost.
ONLINE TENANTS
Our Experienced technologists in the company have created a unique support model, where tenants can plan for home fix appointments, urgently support and other features that help making our homes pleasant for our tenants. We believe this will help us keep our tenants happy and foster a natural care of our homes.
FULLY CHECKED HOMES
Before our homes are let out to our tenants, we carry out comprehensive checks. This will help making the lease pleasant, durable as well as hassle free for everyone. We have a unique “Welcome Home” approach, as part of the journey start between us and our tenants.
CHOICE FOR FAMILIES
Our tenants deserves respect, and a hassle free experience as possible to start leasing with us, which we believe will help ensure everyones satisfaction for the duration of the lease.
One of the services we offer is to purchase homes on request from our future tenants, resulting in greater satisfaction as our tenants are part of the process. We offer this as long as the parameters of our model is fulfilled, and that certain basic requirements can be satisfied. Things like duration of lease, solidity of our tenants background and credit scores will all be important considerations.
Is leasing better as opposed to owning? It’s a good question, and owning at a later stage may still be an option, however we offer below as examples for why we think it’s a good option to lease.
